Call for Faculty Nominations to Serve on Hearing Committee

The purpose of this notice is to officially open the call for nominations of faculty members to serve on the University Hearing Committee. The nomination period opens today and will remain open through next Friday, September 11. There are five open positions including two alternates. Colleges with open seats include COB; COEHS; and COSE.

ALL full-time faculty are eligible to submit nomination(s) and do not have to be in the colleges listed above in order to submit nomination(s). Faculty submitting nomination(s) are asked to secure the permission of their nominee(s) prior to submission. Nominations must be submitted via email to Amy.Robinson at tamuc.edu<mailto:Amy.Robinson at tamuc.edu> no later Friday, September 11.

Candidates must be from one of the colleges listed above and 1) hold tenure status, and 2) have an assigned teaching/research load of at least 50%. If elected their term is for a three year period, beginning October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2023.
