[VPAAEtal] Annual Federation Symposium - Abstracts are now being accepted

Dear Graduate Student Researchers and Faculty,

Texas Woman's University (TWU) invites you to participate in the Annual Federation Graduate Student Research Symposium to be held on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Texas Woman's University, Denton, Texas. Doctoral and Master students from Commerce in the following graduate disciplines may submit research posters:

1)      HUM - Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business

2)      STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Math

There may be only ONE presenter/author per poster.

Only 20 participants will be accepted from each university to present.

There are cash awards in each category
1st Place - $500
2nd Place - $250
3rd Place - $100

Important dates to remember:

Friday, February 28, 2020 - Deadline to submit Sponsor's Application to Office of Sponsored Programs for approval.
Friday, March 6, 2020 - Deadline to register for the Federation Symposium once approved.

Students must submit an abstract of their research and the approval form which their faculty sponsor must sign and approve. Students should send the Abstract Approval Form, along with an abstract to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) (osp at tamuc.edu<mailto:osp at tamuc.edu>) on or before Friday, February 28, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. for approval.

AFTER you receive approval of your abstract from OSP, you may register online for the symposium. You must register online by Friday, March 6, 2020.

Faculty are welcome to attend and some faculty are needed to judge the competition. You too must complete the online registration form.

A&M-Commerce Support

The Office of Sponsored Programs will cover costs of printing posters for Commerce students in the Art Lab located on the A&M-Commerce campus.

We will provide transportation for Texas A&M-Commerce students participating in the Symposium. The bus will leave from and return to the Commerce campus. Once registered, you will receive additional information concerning the itinerary and where to board the university bus.
