[VPAAEtal] Gradebook Tips for myLeo Online

Hello faculty,

Here are a few tips to consider for configuring your gradebook in myLeo Online:


1.       Set up the gradebook to "Drop ungraded items" in the Calculations tab.  You will need to enter 0's for student work that is not submitted on time.



2.       Release "final" calculated grade.  This is actually the overall current grade and will allow the student to see their current standing in the course. 3.       Review the "Manage Grades" tab to determine total number of grade items and what activities/assessments they are associated with.


4.       Also in the "Manage Grades" tab, make sure each grade item is attached to the correct Assignment/Discussion/Quiz. You can check this by clicking on the question mark out beside the activity type in the Association column on the Manage Grades page. It will tell you which assignment, discussion, or quiz the grade item is attached to.
