Greetings!
There are currently 30 student applicants signed up to present at the Pathways Research Symposium, leaving 10 spots still available. If you have any students feeling like they've missed the deadline, I've opened it up for one more week. Please have students fill out the Approval Form located on this webpage OSP-Pathways Research Symposium<http://www.tamuc.edu/research/FindFunding/find-student-funding/ResearchSymposiums/pathways/default.aspx> and send it to OSP at tamuc.edu<mailto:OSP at tamuc.edu> by early Friday, 9/20/19 as I need to report all students that will be presenting to the host university this week.
Students MUST have completed the Responsible Conduct of Research training and it must be current. Their certificate of completion (pdf) should be included as part of their packet. It can be downloaded from CITI.<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.citiprogram.org_index.cfm-3FpageID-3D14-26languagePreference-3DEnglish-26region-3D1&d=DwIFAg&c=oqyuZuih6ykib6aKiBq22_bich4AVfYGoLertJN0bEc&r=ipRgm7MFqxEwm4jXxXA7TfceI2KGyDX4I4OYfUR5x68&m=jfWL1fjUYUWpkuyjOZeJ2VjJM_4ZrMXcMisi9K-0AIs&s=QB3_RTdEaUZ6lEJa_BYXPAaVfP6i4Fwygyw_iynMqwU&e= >
All students must be on an active protocol (IACUC, IBC, or IRB) to apply. If their advisor feels that no protocol is required, the advisor must submit a statement explaining why no protocol is needed for research.
Still needed are Faculty Judges. There are still 3 spots to fill. If you would like to participate and judge poster or oral sessions please contact me at Leah.Kanaman at tamuc.edu<mailto:Leah.Kanaman at tamuc.edu> . Hotel and travel by Charter Bus is provided.
