Hello Faculty,

Accessibility Training for Faculty Content- Applying accessibility enhancements to your teaching content can greatly benefit all your students and help improve learning outcomes. Many commonly used software products have these features right at your fingertips. We are here to show you these built in tools and workflows to help get you started. The training will cover:

*         Accessibility Checker feature in Microsoft Word documents

*         Accessibility Checker feature in PowerPoints

*         Accessibility Checker feature in myLeo Online (D2L)

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own documents to work with during the training

Three sessions available:


*         Tuesday 12th, 9:00 AM

*         Wednesday 13th, 3:00 PM

*         Thursday 14th, 1:00 PM


myLeo Online Workshop-Gradebook Setup- Get to know the ins and outs of myLeo Online's Grades tool in this targeted session. Bring a copy of your syllabus to get hands-on experience building out a gradebook in the new LMS! We'll learn how to create categories and grade items as well as use the gradebook Set-up Wizard to create the gradebook for your next course.

Three sessions available:


*         Wednesday 13th, 10:00 AM

*         Thursday 14th, 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM
