Texas A&M University- Commerce will observe Constitution Day on Tuesday, September 12, 2018 from 11:00AM until noon in the Sam Rayburn Memorial Student Center Ambition A&B Rooms.

This year's observance will focus upon the importance of voting and civic engagement among the college-aged population.  A panel of speakers including:  Alee Corrales, a junior political science major; Addison Jones, president of the SGA; Grace Slayter, a senior history major; Cristan Shamburger, a Commerce native and recent Sam Houston State University graduate; and David Gosbee, adjunct instructor in political science will each share their experience with community engagement efforts as well as electoral and political campaigns.

Refreshments will be served and an opportunity for questions will follow the speaker's presentation. Faculty are encouraged to invite or bring their students.
