Just a friendly reminder that final grades, for the following terms, will be due Monday, August 27, 2018 by 5 p.m..

§  2018 Summer II Sub-Term 'OC5' - July 9, 2018-August 23, 2018
§  2018 Summer I Sub-Term 'N' - June 4, 2018-August 24, 2018
§  2018 Summer I Sub-Term 'O' - June 11, 2018-August 24, 2018
§  2018 May Mini Sub-Term 'M' - May 14, 2018-August 23, 2018
§  2018 May Mini Sub-Term 'O' - May 21, 2018-August 24, 2018
§  2018 Spring Sub-Term 'A2' - February 1, 2018-August 24, 2018
§  2017 Fall Sub-Term 'A1' - October 23, 2017-August 24, 2018
§  2017 Fall Sub-Term 'A2' - November 1, 2017-August 24, 2018

***Any grades not submitted on time will require the submission of a Petition for Grade Change form for each student, in order to post the grades.

Instructions for entering final grades:

  *   Log into myLEO
  *   Select: Faculty Resources tab
  *   Select: Faculty Final Grades
  *   Select: Term
  *   Select: Course
  *   Select: Submit
  *   Input letter grade under "Grade"
  *   Select: Submit

Administrative Associates, please forward this to any adjuncts who do not have the main faculty e-mail address.

Please note, the prompt submission of grades is imperative for staff to complete their end of term processes.

There are several processes affected by final grades for each semester. Some of these are:

  *   Financial aid eligibility determination
  *   Graduation checks
  *   Academic action assessments
  *   Student registration in future terms
  *   Final transcript calculations for our students
  *   Academic appeals for future semesters

None of these can be done without all grades for individual students.

Also, when completing the grading process, please be aware of FERPA regulations and guidelines, which can be found at the following address:  http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/registrar/documents/Ferpafacultystaff.pdf Grading information is considered non-directory and cannot be shared openly amongst a class or department. We appreciate your attention in this matter.
