[VPAAEtal] Invitation: Scopus Demonstration

Good Afternoon,

The library has invited representatives from Elsevier to campus to demonstrate their database Scopus for faculty. The demonstration will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 in the Sam Rayburn Student Center, Pride room.  We are offering two different times for faculty in the hope that one of them will work for you.  Scopus is a very exciting product that the library is considering for subscription and we feel that faculty will find it valuable for measuring research impact.  We would really appreciate your input on this product and hope that the demonstration will show you its capabilities.

According to Elsevier, “It is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, featuring smart tools to track, analyze and visualize research. With 22,800 titles from more than 5,000 international publishers, Scopus delivers the most comprehensive view of the world’s research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social science and arts and humanities.”
