Hello Audrey:
A slight mistake on my book order. For fall please order 290 cards and not 390 cards for Spc 1315 and 1321.
I forgot to change 3 to 2.
Thank you.
Best,
JB

Subject: [VPAAEtal] Due April 15-Textbook Orders
Hello Faculty, Adjunct Faculty, and Academic Department Staff,
This is a notice that all textbook adoptions for Summer/Fall 2016 are due on April 15th. Please be sure to send the bookstore your textbook orders by this date.
For those of you who have already turned in your book orders, please disregard this email as our communication will serve as your official adoption.
Not using a book?
If students will not need to purchase books for your class, let us know! We will mark your class as "No Text Required" on our website. This will help eliminate confusion and cut down on questions when each semester begins. However, if your course requires a book students cannot purchase directly through the bookstore (web access products bought directly from the vendor, etc.), this does not qualify as "No Text Required". Even if the bookstore does not sell the product, the bookstore will still need this information to load onto the site per the Higher Education Opportunity Act.
Why due on April 15th?
Textbook adoptions are due April 15th so we can do our best to shop for the most affordable textbooks, save our students the most money, and students have easy access to the information for budgeting & financial aid reasons. Remember, we cannot order the books you need for your class until we have your official adoption in-and certain titles can take weeks to arrive in our stores! For detailed examples of how on-time book adoption submissions help save students money we've attached our common Faculty FAQs document to this email.
How do I submit textbook adoptions?
Please email or fax your textbook adoptions as soon as you can. You can also enter adoptions directly through the Campus Bookstore Website by clicking the link for Faculty Adoptions<http://www.amcbookstore.com/FacultyAdoption/FacultyAdoption/>. You will need to set up an account with us if you have never entered textbooks through our site before.
I am also attaching a form that you are welcome to use when submitting your adoption to the bookstore. It is not required, but it does let you know exactly what information is needed for the bookstore to adopt and post the correct textbooks for your courses.
Email adoptions to: textbooks at tamuc.edu<mailto:textbooks at tamuc.edu>
Fax to: 903-886-5831
I am always available if you need assistance or if you have any questions or concerns, and thank you for your help!
