[VPAAEtal] LMS Pre-Selection Open Forums for Faculty

[Academic Affairs]

Faculty and Adjunct Faculty,

On March 3rd, Provost Adolfo Benavides announced to the University faculty community that Pearson was placing its LearningStudio (eCollege) into "maintenance mode", and in response to Pearson's announcement, the University will move forward with selecting a new Learning Management System (LMS).

It is important to both the Provost and me that faculty members have a voice in the LMS selection process. To this end, Provost Benavides shared that he is appointing and chairing a LMS Search Task Force comprised in large part of faculty representatives.

Additionally, we offer you the opportunity to share your suggestions regarding LMS features, functions, and capabilities you find beneficial in creating an engaging and effective teaching and learning experience for you and your students.

I invite you to participate in one of the following LMS Pre-Selection Open Forums.
