[VPAAEtal] A&M-Commerce's 11th Annual Relay For Life set for April 17-18

A&M-Commerce Community,

We are only 52 days away from this year's Relay For Life!

It is not too late for you or your department, office or organization to get involved!

We will be having a Team Meeting on March 10th @ 7:00 pm in the Visions room (2nd floor of the Student Center). Join us to learn about the Relay event, being a team captain, how to fundraise, and what to bring the night of! Plan to attend and bring a friend (or two!) with you. You can also purchase your luminaria to be lit at during the ceremony at the Relay event.

SLIDESHOW TRADITION--- Get your loved one in our annual slideshow! We are currently taking picture submissions for the Heroes of Hope Slideshow that will be shown the night of Relay! You can send in images of those we have lost (in memory of), survivors (in honor of), and caregivers.

How to send them in:
Send the image to lionsrelay4life at gmail.com<mailto:lionsrelay4life at gmail.com>
- with FULL NAME (of person in image,)
- YEARS (person has survived their cancer if survivor),
- DATES (for those who have passed on),
- and TYPE OF CANCER.

 Again our event is set for April 17-18 on the Grid (behind Whitley Hall) from 7:00pm-7:00am and our theme is Ignite Lion City! (neon lights, glow in the dark and so much more!)

Remember, you must bring your own tent, chairs, and tables the night of relay.

 Last year our 2014 event successfully raised nearly $30,000 and that is because of volunteers like you!
