[VPAAEtal] To be sent to all faculty regarding textbook adoptions

Hello Faculty, 

 

This is a reminder that all book adoptions for Fall 2015 were due on April
13th. It is very important that the bookstore receives these adoptions as
soon as possible in order to save our students the most money when the time
comes for them to purchase their textbooks. Also, buyback season is right
around the corner. Buying as many books as we can from students ultimately
saves them money by reducing textbook costs. In addition, we are able to
offer students more money for their books at buyback if we know that they
are going to be used in an upcoming term.

We are still missing adoptions for all Summer terms as well. Students are
already inquiring about books needed for their Summer courses and have begun
purchasing the books that we have available to them. We cannot order the
books you need for your class until we have your adoption in, and certain
titles can take weeks to arrive in our stores. 

Please email or fax your textbook adoptions immediately. You can also enter
adoptions directly through the Campus Bookstore Website by clicking the link
for  <http://www.amcbookstore.com/FacultyAdoption/FacultyAdoption/> Faculty
Adoptions.  

 

I am attaching a form that you are welcome to use when submitting your
adoption to the bookstore. It is not required but it does let you know
exactly what information is needed for the bookstore to adopt and post the
correct textbooks for your courses. Please contact me know if you have any
