Dear Colleagues:
This year we have the largest freshman class in our history. Each semester, at five weeks, we ask faculty to report students' current grades, absences and offer comments about their work.
This information is used to intervene with students in need of help before their grades become unsalvageable. Early Intervention reporting opens tomorrow and will stay open until next Friday, October 3.
To report, simply go to MyLeo, select "Early Intervention" under faculty apps. You'll need to report a grade for each freshman student listed for each course.
Expect my office to direct those in need directly to you and other campus resources for assistance. This is our way of saying both "we care," and "we're watching."
Thanks,
Ricky
