Pearson Learning Studio (eCollege) Tool Spotlight: Social Course Home

Social Course Home is a Pearson LearningStudio (eCollege) course homepage that highlights the activity in your course by simulating a social media experience. It boasts features like an activity feed with multiple activity filters, a notifications area which reminds students what work is due in the next seven days, and a user-friendly announcements area. Additionally, for instructors there is an area which displays the most recent student submissions to the dropbox, organized by assignment and submission time. Social Course Home has been available through Pearson LearningStudio (eCollege) since 2012, and can be toggled on in the Course Admin area under "Enable / Disable Course Tools." A brief overview guide is attached.
