[VPAAEtal] Faculty Technology Discovery Questionnaire Report (Fall 2013)

Attached is the Faculty Technology Discovery Questionnaire (TDQ) report
that was administered by the Faculty Center for Teaching with Technology
(FCTT) during a two week window in mid-November 2013.  The purpose of
the questionnaire was to assist the FCTT determining the interests and
wants of the faculty.  Based off the TDQ responses and the Academic
Technology Advisory Committee (ATAC)recommendation, Technology Discovery
Forums will be scheduled in the month of April to discuss: 

 

1)      Online Academic Integrity 

Overall, this forum is to open dialogue about online academic integrity.
This forum will discuss the potential need and how beneficial an
academic integrity solution(s) would be to the University. 

2)      Instructional Technology Tools used for Collaboration in Online
and Face-to-Face Learning Environments

Interactive whiteboards, student response systems, web-conferencing, and
digital storytelling software are tools that can be used to increase
collaboration among students and their instructors.  The mentioned tools
are just a few that instructors use at A&M-Commerce.  This forum is to
discuss how these tools are being used, ways that these tools can be
used, and what new tools to investigate. 

The two topics will also be part of a one 50 minute session under the
"Just for Faculty" track during the Professional Development Day on
