[VPAAEtal] James G. Gee Library Honors Veterans

[Academic Affairs]

The James G. Gee Library, the Veterans and Military Services department
and the newly organized Veterans Student Association are teaming up to
create a series of displays located on the second floor of the Library
honoring/spotlighting our military men and women. So, we want to hear
from any of our Veteran/Military Faculty, Staff, & Students or any of
your family members that are Veterans/Military and would like to bring
any items and tell your stories. To start the series off, we currently
have a display showcasing various military items from the Army, Navy, &
Air Force branches. Just a few examples are: Flight Suit & Flight Helmet
along with an Aviators Log Book, U.S. Navy winter blue "crackerjack"
dress uniform, U.S. Navy Flight Crew Survival Vest, U.S. Army Korean era
helmet shell, and U.S. Army Desert Combat Uniform.

If you would like to contribute any items, stories, photos, etc., please
