RE:                  Agenda for August 2013 Commencement

 

Commencement exercises will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 with
separate ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students. 

 

There will be one undergraduate ceremony for all colleges at 9:30 a.m.
(Please refer to the attached schedule). All faculty members who are on
contract are expected to participate. Adjunct faculty are invited, but
not required, to participate in the processional.

 

Faculty are requested to assemble in academic regalia in the field house
no later than the assembly times as shown above for their respective
colleges. Processionals will begin at the times listed for each
graduation.

 

Graduate advisors who will be hooding doctoral candidates should have
received separate instructions.

 

Faculty Parking is available in front of the Library - you must present
your A&M-Commerce ID or be sure you have your staff parking sticker
displayed on your vehicle for entrance into the parking area.  UPD will
not allow you into the area if you do not have a TAMU-C parking sticker
or proper staff identification.

 

Thank you for a successful semester and I look forward to seeing you on
August 10th.

 

Requests to be excused from participation in commencement should be
forwarded through the department head to the college dean.
