[VPAAEtal] Special magazine returns

[Academic Affairs]

After approximately a 7-year absence, the student magazine The Special,
written and produced by journalism students, has returned. The first issue
of the magazine, published online, is now available at
http://www.issuu.com/thespecial.

The magazine is published this fall by students in the Basic Reporting class
including several international students. The students, determine the
stories, conduct interviews, write the stories, shoot photos and complete
the publication design.

Plans are to publish 2-3 issues of The Special this current semester.

Please take a look at The Special at your convenience.
