[VPAAEtal] Adobe Connect Server Migration and Domain Update

Hello Adobe Connect and Presenter Users,

 

In order to improve service and prepare for the school domain change,
Information Technology is in the process of migrating Adobe Connect
(formerly known as Breeze) to a new server.  Preliminary steps have been
made in this transition.  All accounts and content will be migrated in
the transition.  

 

Because of the impending domain change, it is necessary to update any
content links posted in courses or webpages.  New links will have the
server name and updated domain prefix.  For example
Connect.tamuc.edu/unique content identifier  

 

Also, note that the login to the new server will use the updated e-mail
address format:

 

Old username:                   First_Last at tamu-commerce.edu

 

New username:                First.Last at tamuc.edu

 

New password:  Domain password

 

The URL for the new Adobe Connect platform will be Connect.tamuc.edu.
The rollover to the new system will be on Monday, August 13th.  For that
day, Breeze.tamu-commerce.edu will be unavailable.  Content and the live
meeting features will not be available for that day as the copy and
rollover process to the new server is completed.

 

The new service will be live and active at Connect.tamuc.edu after the
migration is completed.  An e-mail notification will be sent to the list
serve once the migration is complete.
