[VPAAEtal] REMINDER - Convocation - April 26, 11:00 am

Please be sure to join us for the Academic Convocation scheduled for
Tuesday, April 26, at 11:00 a.m. in the University Auditorium to honor
Dr. Edgar J. Manton, Professor of Business Administration and Management
Information Systems.  Dr. Manton became the University's most recent
recipient of the highest academic distinction bestowed upon faculty by
The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents when named "Regents
Professor" during the  December, 2010, A&M Board Meeting.  

 

In order for students, faculty, and staff to attend the Convocation, all
classes and campus offices will be canceled/ closed from 11:00 a.m. to
Noon, Tuesday, April 26.       

 

Faculty will participate in full academic regalia and gather for the
processional at approximately 10:45 a.m. in the first floor hallway of
the Ferguson Social Sciences Building.  Those unable to attend are to
consult the relevant dean in advance.   Please mark this special event
in both Dr. Manton's career and the history of our university on your
calendar and plan to join us in the University Auditorium at 11:00 a.m.
on April 26.
