The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges
(SACSCOC) is sponsoring a competition to design a new logo for the
Commission apart from the Association's seal. A cash prize will be
awarded for the top three submissions and the new logo will be presented
at the Commission's Annual Meeting in December 2010. The competition is
open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees of member
institutions.

Would you please see that the attached announcement receives wide
distribution within your institution and among your alumni and retiree
groups? We imagine there will be interest beyond the Art departments.
This information can also be found on our Web site at www.sacscoc.org
<http://www.sacscoc.org/> .

Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,

Belle S. Wheelan, Ph.D.
