Dear Colleagues:

Early Intervention reporting for Spring, 2010 is now open. It can be
accessed via your MyLeo account. Additional instructions follow in the
link below.

ntion%20Instructions.aspx

Please report current grades, absences or any additional concerns you
might have. If you are teaching an online course, rather than reporting
absences please use the space indicated to report missing
assignments/units.

First notifications to students go out Monday, February 15.

All students classified as freshmen with excessive absences or any one
grade of D or F will be notified.

Last semester, 403 students received an Early Intervention notification
from this office. Two thirds ended the semester above a 2.0 GPA with
your help.

The rhythm of each course and section is different. Not everyone has a
major assignment completed at this point. However, anything that gives
a professor pause is worth reporting.

Early Intervention is easy, and it is quick. It is also effective.
Last semester's numbers show it.

Please assist us in reaching those students in need of a wake-up call.

Thanks,
