Join your colleagues for this session that will focus on developing
learning outcomes (objectives) that are SMARC - Specific, Measurable,
Actionable, Relevant and Communicated. 

 

Methods used to align these outcomes to activities and assessment
strategies for measuring these outcomes will also be explored. Faculty
members are en-couraged to bring course syllabi to the session.

**Statement of Value in Attending this Session**

 

As we all know, learning outcomes (objectives) are the primary building
blocks in the design of an online course. The Quality Matters (QM)
rubric we are implementing for the design and review of effective online
courses has at its core-effective learning out-comes (objectives). Three
of the eight Quality Matters broad standards are tied to ef-fective
