[VPAAEtal] Pets in Univeristy Buildings
Academic Affairs

It has come to our attention that some faculty members, staff members,
and students are bringing dogs and other pets into the academic
buildings, including offices and classrooms. Due to the health, hygiene
and safety issues, as well as liability issues, and the potential for
classroom or office disruption, faculty members, staff members, and
students should not bring dogs and other pets into buildings on campus
(certified service dogs are exempt and are allowed anywhere on campus).
Dogs are allowed on campus outside buildings on a temporary basis, but
should be on a leash at all times.
Thank you for your cooperation.
