Good Afternoon!

We have been engaged with online teaching since 1998, and have increased
our online course offerings from 11 our first year to 540 in 2008-2009.
Each year newer technology becomes available that enhances online
learning; therefore, ITDE, in conjunction with the Provost and College
Deans, have determined a more valuable use of stipend funds is to
provide additional resources for faculty as they participate in update
training and online workshops to build and deliver high-quality
interactive online courses using the newer technologies. As a result,
beginning June 1st stipends will no longer be available for
design/redesign/delivery of wholly online courses.

As always, assistance for designing or redesigning your courses is
available. The three eLearning support personnel will be rotating
through each of the colleges weekly per the schedule below, as well as,
being available in our office suite AG/IT 221/222. Support is not
limited to eCollege support but encompasses any technology related
support you might need assistance with. Additionally, you are not
limited to only those times when one of the specialists is in your
college, you may travel to any one of the other colleges or meet with
them in our office suite AG/IT 221/222. See schedule below:
