[VPAAEtal] Provost candidate schedule

Dear University Family:

 

On behalf of the Provost Search Advisory Committee and President Dan
Jones, I would like to announce the candidates who will come on campus
to interview for our vacant position.

 

First to arrive on March 23rd and 24th will be Dr. Robert Moulton who is
presently the Interim Executive Vice President and Provost at New Mexico
State University.  His Ph.D. is in Speech and Hearing Sciences from
Michigan State University.  His complete resume will be posted later
today on the Arts and Sciences Webpage.

 

Second will be Dr. Louis Paradise of the University of New Orleans.  Dr.
Paradise is presently a professor in the Department of Educational
Leadership, but served earlier as Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost
at that same institution for 11 years. Dr. Paradise will be visiting on
March 30 and 31.

 

Third will be Dr. Larry Lemanski who is presently serving as Senior Vice
President for Research and Strategic Initiatives at Temple University.
He is a professor of anatomy and cell biology in the College of Medicine
and the College of Science and Technology. He will arrive on April 1 and
2.

 

Last to arrive on campus will be Dr. Charles Holm who is founding Dean
of the College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences and Professor of
Sociology at California State University, Dominguez Hills. He will be on
campus on April 6 and 7.

 

We hope that a large group of faculty, staff and students will turn out
to welcome each of these candidates.

 

I would like to point out that these candidates have sold themselves to
the committee and the president.  Now it is our turn to sell them on our
university as a "happening place" that they should consider calling
their home.
