Re: Academic program learning outcomes assessment plans in
WEAVEonline
Earlier this fall, departments were directed to establish Learning
Outcomes Assessment committees for their academic programs. These
committees were to review the results of last year's learning outcomes
assessments (LOA's) , and develop learning outcomes assessment plans for
this academic year. Also, colleges were directed to establish
college-level learning outcome assessment teams to review the work of
the department committees. These activities should be completed, with
all results and plans entered into WEAVEonline by the end of January,
2010, when the University Level Learning Outcomes Assessment team will
begin review of LOA results and LOA plans for the entire university.
(Details can be found in the Institutional Effectiveness Manual - let me
know if you need a copy).

Re: Administrative plans to be entered into WEAVEonline
For the past several years, beginning with PIT and now with the BRDC,
units have been developing three-year rolling administrative plans.
Beginning this spring, the FY2011 plans you should be working on now,
will also be entered into WEAVEonline. We will be conducting
WEAVEonline training sessions early in the spring. These entries into
WEAVE should also coincide with submissions to the BRDC, and should be
linked to the University Strategic Plan, the University Priorities, and
Dr. Jones' guiding principles. (More information on this will follow).
Please let me know if you have any questions. Please direct technical
WEAVEonline questions to Barbara Forbes (
barabara_forbes at tamu-commerce.edu).
Thank you,
Randy
