[VPAAEtal] Opening Hearing on Recent Changes Made by TAMUS's Board of Regents

Subject: Open Hearing on the Recent Changes Made by the Texas A&M
System's Board of Regents   

              in the Faculty Tenure Policy; the New Tenure
Implementation Policy;  and the Post- Tenure 

              Policy, New Work Load Policy, and Our University's
Proposed Changes in Procedures 

              Related to Tenure & Post-Tenure Review (including its
appendix)

 

There will be an open hearing on issues related to the A&M System Tenure
& Post Tenure Review policies, and the A&M-Commerce tenure procedure
listed above on November 17 at 1 PM and November 18 , 1 PM in the
Faculty Lounge (Binnion Hall #126). 

 

The said policies and procedures have been sent by our president's
office and povost to all of us earlier. They are being attached herewith
so you could go over them and express your views on them and their
implementation in the open hearings. The faculty senate will appreciate
your input before presenting ideas/recommendations to President Jones
and Provost Hendrix on the subject. You may also send your
comments/reviews to Raghu_Singh at tamu-commerce.edu 

 

We will have light refreshments served at both meetings starting 12:30
PM.
