[VPAAEtal] Special Task Force

[Academic Affairs]

July 16, 2008

Colleagues in Faculty Senate & Department Heads:

The faculty senate had a special meeting yesterday under the leadership
of President Crenshaw. A special task force was appointed to develop
multiple-choice questions for students' evaluation of teaching. Dr.
Crenshaw has asked me to chair the task force.

We have to come up about 5 to 10 questions to be forwarded to Chancellor
McKinney by the end of this month. We are also contacting all department
heads on campus to send to me copies of student evaluation questions
they have been using for evaluating teaching in departments. In the
meantime, please send me by the coming weekend any multiple-choice
questions you might want to recommend to the task force for this
important task.

Thank you. R. N. Singh
