[VPAAEtal] eCollege Orientations Scheduled - Faculty and GAs

Faculty,

 

Please note the dates below for the upcoming eCollege Orientation for
Faculty and the scheduled eCollege Orientation for GAs. Information is
provided as to how to register to attend one of these sessions within the
information below:

 

eCollege Orientation for GAs - February 8th, 10:00-12:00, AG/IT 221

 

This orientation session is designed just for GAs. The Orientation will
provide your GA with an overview of the basics of using eCollege to support
your online course instruction. As the instructor, please email
online at tamu-commerce.edu <mailto:online at tamu-commerce.edu>  to confirm that
your GA will attend the eCollege Orientation for GAs. Include the name of
the GA in the email so that we may make the appropriate arrangements for
your GA to attend. Your GA will be added as a TA to an eCollege Orientation
course shell to which you will also have access.

 

eCollege Orientation for Faculty - February 12th, 9:00-12:00, AG/IT 221

 

If you plan to either teach an online course (01W, 02W, etc. ) or web
enhance a course for the first time, you are to attend an eCollege
orientation. This orientation provides you an overview of University
processes related to teaching online and an overview of the eCollege course
management software. Please email online at tamu-commerce.edu
<mailto:online at tamu-commerce.edu>  to confirm that you plan to attend this
orientation. In that email let us know for which academic department you are
teaching so that we may make the proper preparations for your involvement in
this hands on session.
