A survey of faculty, deans and department heads was conducted fall 2007 to
determine grant training needs. Four focus areas ware identified: finding
grant funding, grant writing, developing goals and objectives, and creating
budgets.
As a result, the Office of Graduate Studies & Research will present the
spring 2008 series of Grant Funding Workshops for faculty, research
scientists, postdoctoral fellows, and professional staff. Four workshops
are available, Finding Grant Opportunities, Grantwriting 101, Writing Goals
& Objectives and Creating Budgets & Justifications.
