The 2008 PAL College Conference which is hosted annually by Texas A&M
University-Commerce is scheduled for February 1-2, 2008 on our campus.  This
is a conference for 70-75 bright and promising high school juniors and
seniors who are involved in the State of Texas foster care system.  The
purpose of the two-day event is to give these students an overview of the
college experience. 

 

We will be hosting a Majors Fair (Founders Lounge) and Student Life Fair
(2nd floor hallway) on Friday, February 1, from 1:00 - 2:30 pm (like we do
for University Day only you don't have to come on Saturday!).  This will be
an opportunity for academic departments, student-led organizations, various
student affairs offices, and other campus departments to participate.  In
addition to providing the students with valuable information about entering
and succeeding in college, we hope that your interaction with the students
will highlight the student-centered atmosphere of A&M-Commerce and encourage
them to choose us! 

 

We will be sending you more specific information and look forward to the
participation from the campus community.
