Faculty, This is a reminder to please announce the following to all your
undergraduate classes, particularly those with new first year and new
transfer students.

WHAT: MAJORS' FAIR

WHEN: FRIDAY, October 5, 11:30am to 1pm

WHERE: Founders Lounge

Why a Majors' Fair?  Our own students typically do not get to experience
University Day, and yet many of them, particularly new, first year or
transfer students, may well benefit from meeting with seasoned A&M-Commerce
students, to help them as they learn about their majors, or help them
explore possible minors.  

The Campus Majors' Fair is from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on the second floor
of the Memorial Student Center.

Here's the plan: Academic departments will have their table or booth setups
by 11:am on Friday. The Major's Fair is 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m in the
Founders Lounge. Booths or tables will be staffed with students/faculty
during the entire fair. This is prime time to meet new first-year and new
transfer students that want detailed information about majors and minors,
particularly those students who are undecided.
