The Graduate Writing Seminar Series II

Wednesday, November 14th 7PM

LaSalle Room, MSC (3rd Floor)

This seminar will feature two speakers:

* Dr. Salvatore Attardo (Professor and Head, Department of Literature
and Languages; Editor, Humor: International Journal of Humor Research) will
discuss "The Do's and Don'ts of Academic Publishing."

* Sharon Fulkerson (Career Services) will offer a workshop on JOB
HUNTING specifically aimed at graduates with MA and Doctorate degrees.

Following the speakers, all students are welcome to present their research
projects in a mock conference format, bring current writing projects for
review and/or work shopping, or just to discuss any aspects of the writing
process that they are unsure about.

We will have expert academic readers on hand to provide whatever assistance
you need.

While this seminar series does focus on the needs of Post Graduate students,
ALL students considering Post Graduate education are welcome to attend.
