PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN DATES FROM THE EARLIER MESSAGE.  THE VENUES HAVE
BEEN IDENTIFIED AS WELL.

 

Colleagues:

 

Dr. Bill J. Franklin of Academic Search, Inc, the firm the System has hired
to aid in the gathering of applicants for our new President, will be here
Wednesday and Thursday, November 14 and 15.

 

The purpose of his visit is to do research regarding our campus in preparing
the search prospectus. He will be meeting with a number of groups across
campus.  My purpose here is to solicit your input in selecting the type of
President that this campus deserves.

 

There will be an open Faculty Forum from 3-3:50 on Wednesday, November 14
and a second at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 15.  The site of these two
forums will be the Leadership Lounge in the MSC for the first forum and the
Founders Lounge for the second forum.

 

I encourage you to make every attempt to make one or both of these important
events.  This is your opportunity to express your views on what you believe
to be most important in our new President.
