[VPAAEtal] FW: Enrollment Report for August 27

University community:

 

We will be sending you daily enrollment reports so that you know where we
stand. We hit over 9000 this weekend with approximately 1900 who have not
paid (this is the lowest number we have experienced in many years)!  This is
great news because we expect our enrollment to increase this week. As you
know, President McFarland has established a certified enrollment goal of
9000.

 

We need your help.  Would you please announce to your students that we will
adhere to the established drop deadline provided in the academic calendar if
they have not paid ½ of their tuition/fees by Monday, September 3, at 7:00
p.m.?

 

If students are having difficulty paying, they may contact the Bursar's
office for a short-term loan by calling 903-886-5051 and 903-886-5551 or
loan information and forms can be accessed on the University website at
<http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/fiscal/studentaccounts/loans.htm>
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/fiscal/studentaccounts/loans.htm.

 

Students with pending financial aid awards and those going through the
appeals process should contact the Bursar's Office on Monday, September 3,
if their aid has not applied to their student account over the weekend.

 

Schedules can be reinstated if payment (1/2 of tuition and fees) is made by
the 12th class day (September 11) if the instructor and dean approve. 

 

We are also sending emails and calling all students who are on the drop
list.
