Many factors are impacting education enrollment, resulting in a shift in the
learning environment, where the traditional student is no longer "typical."
Educators are faced with an increasingly diverse student body. Technology
changes and access have also changed students' habits, resulting in a need
for how resources and instruction are offered. How can your institution
better serve all students?

With the attractiveness of and need for online learning, understanding the
way people learn is critical. Join presenters, Alice Anderson and Blaire
Bundy in "The <http://www.magnapubs.com/calendar/104.html?s=bsh&p=e1> Key
to Successful Online Instruction: Universal Design." A 90-minute online
seminar that will provide an understanding of universal design, how
universal design can be applied to education, and examples addressing
accessibility/usability of products, services, and environments for
everyone. Young people and old, people with disabilities and without -
making education more convenient for time-pressed students, more comfortable
for people from diverse backgrounds, and more flexible for persons having
different learning styles.
