Hello, again.

The Awards Committee is making the call for nominations for the following
awards (again). Please send a letter of nomination to Keith West,
Department of Physics by FRIDAY, MARCH 10. That would be this week.
Letters of nomination may be sent by either campus mail or email and can be
only one or two lines long. The rest of the paperwork will be done by the
nominee, which is why the deadline is this week. I'd like to give the
nominees notice before spring break so they can work on their portfolios
over the break if they so choose. Please nominate your friends (or your
enemies, if you want to add to their workload). The response so far has
been almost nonexistent, which is very disappointing as the Awards Committee
would like to have something to do.

Thank you,

Keith West

Chair, Awards Committee
