Attached are the two revised System Policies and one new System Policy
approved by the Board of Regents at its May 2006 meeting.

The new Property Management and Commercialization policy replaces former
System Policy 17.01, Intellectual Properties, and System Policy 17.02,
Patents.  Both of these policies have been removed from the System Policy
Manual.  Please note that the offices responsible for the Regulations and
Rules linked to System Policy 17.02 are being notified to review their
Regs/Rules in light of the deletion of Policy 17.02 and the new Policy
17.01.
