Greetings to all new and returning faculty - Welcome to the Fall 2005
semester!
 
I   am seeking for your assistance on the following items:
 
First - Please note: Under the Faculty menu, there is an option for permits
and authorizations.  Students that have permits or authorizations for your
course will be listed - if a student has been permitted or authorized for a
course, this means they have NOT registered or paid for the course.  Please
inform any students who do not appear on your class roster that they must
complete the registration process.  We have sent numerous notices to them
but there are still quite a few who have not actually registered.  
 
Second - There are several hundred on the nonpayment list - Schedules will
be dropped for nonpayment on September 6.  We have sent several notices
regarding this information to the students.  Starting tomorrow, your class
rosters on WEB for Faculty should have an unpaid column with an indicator of
the students who have not paid this semester.    Please encourage the
students to take care of their payment as soon as possible so that we can
retain the students as well as our enrollment numbers.  
 
Finally, students have through Thursday,  September 1 to  add a course and
through September 13 to drop with a refund.   If a student is not on your
roster, please send them to the Registrar's Office to register or drop/add .
 
Your help is GREATLY appreciated in helping to make sure our students have
taken care of any potential problems.
