[Vpaaetal] Teaching September 11

On Thursday, September 9 at 1:30 PM in WTFA 131 (newly renovated Temple
building), the Faculty Development Committee presents its first brownbag
symposium:  "Teaching September 11."  We will discuss the pedagogical
challenges posed by a post-9/11 world.  
The panel will consist of:
	Drew Cottle on teaching comparative religions
	Isaac Land on teaching world history
	Robin Reid on teaching rhetoric
	Bill Wadley on teaching art history
Short presentations by the panelists will be followed by discussion with the
audience.  All are welcome.  Bring food and drink if you wish.
