I was asked to provide some information about TREx acknowledgements.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>As you know, TREx is the high school transcript system developed by the TEA. This system requires institutions to acknowledge the transcripts.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If an acknowledgement is not received for a transcript, then, in the TREx system, the transcript is marked with a bad status.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I have analyzed the Sender and Receiver reports for the months of August, September, and October 2013.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>According to these reports, there are 23 institutions that have received transcripts from TREx but did not acknowledge them.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The top offenders are listed below. For the complete list, please see the attached document.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Mary Hardin Baylor 898 unacknowledged HS transcripts<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>St Edwards University 288 unacknowledged HS transcripts<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Northwest Vista College 167 unacknowledged HS transcripts<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Northeast Lakeview College 156 unacknowledged HS transcripts<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Texas Lutheran University 154 unacknowledged HS transcripts<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Coastal Bend College 127 unacknowledged HS transcripts<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If you represent one of the institutions on this list, please bring this issue to the attention of your IT office so that it can be corrected.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This is an important issue for all institutions that use TREx.
