Hi David,
I like proposal B - keeping it all together in RAP segments.
Thanks,
Donna

Subject: [Tx-speed] Conventions for SPEEDE Coding for Core, Reverse Transfer

Good morning. During the June 11, 2012 Texas SPEEDE User Group
conference in Austin, there was discussion on several requests for coding conventions.

The attached pdf file has recommendations for:

1. Indicating institution where the Core Curriculum was completed, if
at an institution other than the one sending the transcript. There
are two proposals. We'll see how the group (you) responds before selecting one.

2. Marking a transcript as intended for Reverse Transfer, rather than for admission or evaluation of credit.

3. General options for indicating a specific destination (other than the default Admissions or Registrar) within the receiving institution.

A Power Point about this discussion and other Texas SPEEDE coding conventions is posted along with other SPEEDE conference documents at http://people.southwestern.edu/~stonesd/SPEEDELaunch.htm

We look forward to further discussion.

Dave Stones
