[Tx-speed] Mark Your Calendars for May 8 2008 TX SPEEDE UG Mtg

Hello again, TX-SPEED listserv folks.   *Mark your calendars *for the 
Texas SPEEDE User Group meeting.  *We have reservations for Thursday, 
May 8.  The program will again be within the 9 AM - 4 PM timeframe.  *We 
are moving back to the MCC facility, which is pretty close to the Pickle 
Research Center where we've been the last several years.   Our options 
were limited, so we grabbed what was available.  Registration and other 
details in March and April.

On another front, *we expect to provide more information within a week 
or two regarding test files and data for the *TREx electronic high 
school transcript project.  *As discussed in our UG meeting in Addison 
last November, we'll then (1) verify readiness to receive on the part of 
colleges and (2) use our TACRAO volunteer colleges to help test and 
certify readiness of Texas high schools.  Again, stay tuned as this 
project moves forward.  I'm certain we'll discuss it in May as well.*
