[Tx-speed] REF segment content

ACCD sends REF|SY records only. However, we generate ID's for students
who either don't want to give them or don't have one and those also are
sent as REF|SY records.

For the Speede transcript technical folks, or the functional ones who
wish to venture an "educated guess":

 

On your EDI transcripts do you

1.	send REF|LR (local student id #) records only?
2.	send REF|SY (SSN) records only?
3.	send both?
4.	send something else?

 

For those of you who send REF|SY records, if you create some "concocted"
value for an SSN because you either don't have an SSN for that student
or else you have a political policy which says you need to do it or else
because the student asked you to withhold his/her SSN.......do you send
the "concocted" value in the REF|SY even though it is not a "true" SSN?
