Job Description:
Texas A&M University, Office of Admissions is seeking a Regional Advisor II, to serve at the Arlington Regional Prospective Student Center. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to effectively communicate institutional requirements pertaining to admissions, financial aid, and enrollment. The Regional Advisor II, under general supervision, identifies, recruits, and contributes to meeting the strategic enrollment goals of Texas A&M University, which includes increasing outreach and retention of underrepresented populations. The ideal candidate demonstrates an understanding of the field of enrollment management, and the demographical trends as it pertains to tertiary education within the region, and nationally. Also, expertise in the application of such knowledge in the form of large group presentations, one-on-one meetings, and pragmatic programming initiatives is a plus. In addition, the successful candidate should possess the ability to review institutional enrollment data and apply that knowledge to outreach initiatives. Time management, schedule planning, data input, the protection of confidential information according to The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and the ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented position is foundational to the success of the division. Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience in student services, admissions, recruitment, or financial aid
