*POSITION:* Full-Time Testing Center Supervisor – Lufkin

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

*      Required:*

   - Bachelor’s degree.
   - Two (2) years experience providing tests in an academic setting or
   standardized testing environment.
   - Valid Texas driver’s license.
   - Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong
   interpersonal skills.

      *Preferred:*

   - Knowledge of principles, practices and processes of testing.
   - Knowledge of utilizing data to make informed decisions.
   - Knowledge of principles and practices in working with a diverse
   student population.
   - Knowledge of computer operations and software applications.
   - Knowledge of report preparation and formatting.
   - Knowledge of customer service techniques.
   - Knowledge, understanding and compliance with Federal and state privacy
   laws related to students.
   - Demonstrate sensitivity to students with diverse academic,
   socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including those with
   disabilities.
   - Understand how to work successfully as a team within all levels of the
   organization and know how to contribute to the mission of the college.

It is the intent of the basic job requirements, duties, and
responsibilities that these minimum requirements should therefore, be
referred to as a guide for, rather than a limitation to the services
required.

*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

The position will report to the Director of Enrollment Services/Registrar
for job responsibilities and other College related activities as outlined
in the Policies and Procedures Manual. Essential duties include but are not
limited to the following:

   - Administer, proctor, and transmit results of various tests conducted
   through the Testing Center including standardized tests such as TSI(A),
   Pearson, ACT, and VCT;
   - Evaluate credit equivalency for Advanced Placement, CLEP, and Credit
   by Experience and communicate with appropriate academic schools;
   - Develop quick start testing model and process;
   - Communicate testing program policies, procedures, and schedules;
   - Maintain integrity and security of testing environment by tracking
   inventory of tests and materials, reviewing procedures for security, and
   insuring proper storage and return of test materials to testing companies;
   - Train, mentor, and schedule the work of other Testing Center staff,
   for all College locations, including hiring and overseeing work of proctors;
   - Observe college, state, federal and test agency policies and
   procedures for security/confidentiality of testing records;
   - In conjunction with Director of Enrollment Services/Registrar, develop
   and update testing services, policies, and procedures;
   - Expand testing services through exploration and development of new
   testing contracts to meet student and community needs;
   - Track and generate reports relating to Testing Center usage and
   statistics;
   - Gather feedback from faculty and students on Testing Center services;
   - Collaborate with Director of Student Success and Inclusion to ensure
   appropriate testing accommodations are made when necessary;
   - Order and maintain an inventory of office supplies;
   - In conjunction with business office process, collect and deposit money
   from testing fees; and
   - Flex weekly hours as needed to cover evening hours.

*CONTRACT & SALARY: *

Annual salary of $35,000, in addition to excellent employee benefits. Proof
of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified
for successful candidate.
