Job Description:
Coordinator 2 (Transfer Admission Application Coordinator) - (DIV00000030)

Salary Range:
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications

Job Summary:
The Transfer Application Coordinator is a member of the Admission Operations team and reports to the Associate Dean. This individual is primarily responsible for the processing of transfer applications and associated materials through the Slate CRM system and working closely with the Student Records team to evaluate and assess transfer credit for incoming transfer students. This position coordinates the transfer application review process, In addition this position is responsible for submitting I-20 requests on behalf of admitted international transfer students.

Essential Functions:
Serve as the primary point of contact regarding status on application reviews, requirements and timing for Student Records (Registrar's Office) and Admission Operations for Transfer applications. Communicates with all teams and must have a full understanding of each areas focus, progress and timing to ensure a coordinated review process.

Oversee the transfer application review process utilizing the Slate CRM. The role makes sure that Student Records and Transfer Admission operations are completing the application review in the CRM system within the two week decision timeline. This includes follow-up and communication with Transfer Admission team and if necessary the Transfer Admission Committee.

Process additional incoming materials related to complete transfer applications.

Collect, verify and submit necessary documents for I-20 requests for international transfer students.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree is required.
A minimum of two years' work experience is required.
Experience in a higher education setting is strongly preferred.
Admission office experience is a plus.
Experience with providing training and/or guidance to various constituencies is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Candidate must possess strong organizational and project management skills to effectively prioritize and achieve deadlines on multiple projects.
Candidate must also be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
Candidate must also demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in writing with a strong focus on attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite specifically MS Word and Excel.
Experience with student administrative system including PeopleSoft, Slate or closely related systems is a plus.

This position is required to work evenings and weekends during peak admission processing times.

Physical/Environmental Demands:
Handle object (dexterity)
Sit for long periods of time
