Substance Abuse Counselor (Full Time)

Nexus Recovery Center is growing and seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor  to provide counseling services to our clients for our residential programs. The Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for client caseload, including individual and group counseling sessions, documentation of client progress and participation, treatment plans and reviews and discharge planning. Enforces house and community rules, manages crisis situations, and provides assessment, orientation and education as appropriate. Supervises interns and practicum students as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Candidates must have college degree (Master's level preferred), a valid counseling license (LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPC-A) and valid driving license. Candidates with previous substance abuse or mental health counselor experience are preferred. Experience working with women is a plus!

Work Schedule-

PROGRAM 1  Sunday through Thursday (during 8am-5pm hours)

PROGRAM 2   Tuesday through Saturday (8am-4pm) (Full Time)

COPSD COUNSELOR (Substance Abuse)

Nexus Recovery Center is seeking a COPSD COUNSELOR (Substance Abuse) to join the team! Reporting to the Program Director, this position is responsible for client caseload, including individual and group counseling sessions, documentation of client progress and participation, treatment plans and reviews, and discharge planning.   Enforces house and community rules, manages crisis situations, and provides assessment, orientation, and education, as appropriate.  Supervises interns and practicum students as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in Social Sciences or related field from four-year college or university required.  LPC, LPC Intern/Associate, LCSW, or LMFT required.  Two to four years' experience required; strong organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)

Work Schedule- Monday through Friday  (during 8am-5pm hours); there one late day that is worked during the week.
