POSITION: Clinical Social Worker IV     POSITION #: 720      Working
Title: QMHP- LPHA

Supervised by: MH Clinic Director

Directly Supervises: None

Position provides direct services to persons with mental illness in an
outpatient psychiatric clinic.  Responsibilities include assessments and
diagnosis; treatment planning; liaison with other clinical service
providers; provision of treatment and crisis services; and documentation
of client progress.  Must be knowledgeable of psychotropic medications
and DSM IV. Minimum Qualifications: QMHP requires a Bachelor's degree
from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling,
social work, or psychology, or other qualified social, behavioral, or
human services field.  LPHA requires a Master's degree from an
accredited college or university with a major in counseling, social
work, or psychology, with current Texas licensure as LPC or LCSW; or
licensure as LPC-Intern or LCSW-Intern with ability to obtain full
licensure within 90-days of employment.  Must have a valid Texas
driver's license and an acceptable driving record, as well as personal
automobile liability insurance as required by the state of Texas.
Preferred Qualifications: Current Texas license as LPC or LCSW with two
years of related work experience in a mental health setting; working
computer skills including MS Word; and bilingual skills
(English/Spanish).
